26th February (Fourth week)

Today I'm wearing a pair of turquoise tights, with a grey skirt from "ZARA". It's a very dark shade of grey, and there are little holes in it that remind me of lace. I don't think it is lace, though, because there aren't as many holes in it as there are on most lacy material. The tights have little patterns in white, though you can't see the patterns so clearly.

My jumper is thin, and dark grey like the skirt. It has a V-neck, so the turquoise top I'm wearing underneath pokes through.

25th February (Fourth week)

Today I'm wearing my reddish brown skirt with stripy tights (Dark brown, light brown and ochre). I have a green shirt on, over which I'm wearing a dark grey, thin jumper with long sleeves, and on that I have a short sleeved, zip up jumper (Also grey).

24th February (Fourth week)

I had on my red dress, with black leggings and a black shirt underneath. Over the dress I wore my dark grey, cashmere jumper.

23rd February (Fourth week)

I wore a fur/ leather coat over my black top and my leopard-print leggings.

22nd February (Fourth week)

On the 22nd I wore my fringe top with my leopard-print leggings and black boots. Over the top, I had on a black denim jacket, and underneath it, a long-sleeve black T-shirt.

21st February (Third week)

Today I'm wearing my black/ dark brown boots, with coffee-colour tights and my reddish-brown skirt. My shortsleeve T-shirt is the snake-skin pattern one, and the long-sleeve shirt underneath it is grey with lots of details, but I wanted to cover that up so it would go with the rest of the things I'm wearing.

20th February (Third week)

I wore a blue vintage dress from a shop near "Portabello" market. It has little flowers on it, and a sort of ribbon belt to go round it. The sleeves are puffy and have buttons at the ends, on the cuffs. Underneath the dress, I wore a black T-shirt with long sleeves, and a pair of thermal leggings. The shoes I wore were my boots, but I've changed the colour of them by putting black shoe polish on them.

19th February (Second week)

Today I'm wearing a pair of black leggings with a polka-dot skirt. The skirt is bright red, with tiered flounces and white dots, probably inspired by flamenco dresses.

My jumper is the black chunky one, and the long-sleeve pink shirt underneath is from "Primark". Underneath the pink shirt is a red vest top, also from "Primark".

18th February (Third week)

Today I'm wearing my red dress from "ZARA". It has two layers, which are different shades of red. The bottom one has no design; it is simply there to add a background to the one above it. The top layer is lace, and if you look closely at it, you'll see depictions of leaves and flowers, some curling, some not, all with various textures. On the higher part of the dress, there is a little bow (Also red), and above the bow, there is a high, curved neckline.

I'm wearing my purple patterned tights, and a thin jumper over the dress.

17th February (Third week)

I wore my grey legwarmers- again! And underneath those, my blue, boot-cut jeans. I also decided to wear my creamy white thermal vest, with a baggy, blue and grey shirt on top. The shirt is probably nylon, and it has these white sequins on it. It also has white patterns, and sleeves that are half short, half long.

16th February (Fourth week)

On the sixteenth of February, I wore my jumper-dress without the other dress underneath. It looked even better without it. With that, I had on a pair of purple patterned tights, and my chunky black jumper.

15th February (Third week)

I wore my white-ish "ZARA" dress again, this time with a jumper-dress over it. That is a kind of dress made out of the same material as a jumper. It's very soft. The jumper dress is maroon, with a little plaited belt, made out of the same fabric.

14th February (Second week)

I wore my new dress from "ZARA". It is white, with a tinge of pink, and embroidered with flowers. The flowers are not the main part of it; they are there to add texture, and are the same colour as the rest of it. On the top part of the dress are golden (Decorative only) buttons.

With that, I had on a pair of beige tights, and a creamy-white jumper. The jumper has lots of gold-colour beads on the cuffs, and mini flouncees, along with more beads, on the main part. Down the middle of the jumper is a narrow zip, the same colour as the rest of the jumper.

On top of the jumper, I wore a long-ish grey jacket, with both decorative and functional buttons, and I also had on a brown beret.

13th February (Second week)

I had on my black and white (Short-sleeve) dress/ shirt, with two pockets at the front. Underneath that, I wore my long-sleeve button up shirt with it, because the shirt is black. Also, I had on a pair of tight-fitting (As opposed to baggy or track-suit style) leggings (Shiny black) to match.

12th February (Second week)

I wore a pair of grey, sort of leopard-style print jeans, along with my grey leg warmers to go with them. The T-shirt I had on was a short-sleeve, green, quick drying one, on top of which I wore a matching jumper (Bench). The jumper is long-sleeve, and has a hood and yellow lining inside.

11th February (Second Week)

On the eleventh of February I wore my  short-sleeve T-shirt ("Girls"), over a grey, long sleeve shirt (GAP). The grey shirt has got patterns on the main part, but not on the sleeves, so it isn't over busy along with the other top.

My jeans were "ELLE", and I wore them with a belt from "ZARA". Jeans: dark blue, sort of loose. The belt is a dark pink colour, and has a large-ish bow on it. The way you need to fasten the belt is a little strange, but you get used to it.

10th February (Second week)

I wore my V-neck, blue and pink "Kangol" jumper over a pink and white stripy shirt, and I wore that over a pink, long-sleeve shirt. With those tops, I had on my boot-cut "& FLARY" jeans, and my "Karrimor" shoes.

A picture of me without the jumper

9th February (Second week)

I wore a long-sleeve shirt from "GAP", underneath a grey, short-sleeve, zip-up jumper with a hood (From "UNIQLO"). With that, I had on my boot-cut jeans (& FLARY), and my "Karrimor" shoes. The shoes are very tough, and are designed for hiking, or walking on un-even ground. The rubber underside soles are quite high, so they won't be worn down in a while, and they grip the ground very well; there are lots of specially made ridges on them. I'll probably have them for a few years.

As well as that, I wore my new hat from "ZARA", which is a pinkish-purplish colour, with a bow on the side.

8th February (Second week)

In this photo, I'm wearing my "UNIQLO" jacket and coffee-colour tights (Again!!). Underneath the jacket, there's a red "Calvin Klein" jumper with long sleeves, and a polo-style neck. The neck is folded in two, downwards with black (Decorative)  buttons on it. Also hidden by the jacket is a green skirt with a few pictures of red and pink roses scattered around on it. Around the bottom of the dress are some tiered flounces made out of a sort of net-tish material.

In the picture, I'm wearing purple (!!) lipstick from "INGLOT".

Finally, under the jumper is a short-sleeved, quick-drying T-shirt (Green).

7th February (First week)

Today I'm wearing that black shirt (Again!!) with a yellow-ochre T-shirt on top. I love the look of having a short-sleeved shirt over a long sleeved one, but if I do that, I have to make sure that they match each other. That means, no complex patterns together, and colours must contrast/sorta contrast each other. On the other hand, the two tops can't be too different. What I mean by "Too different" is, you shouldn't wear a frilly, girly shirt that's meant to be worn with dresses, underneath a hip, modern T-shirt, because they just don't go :-(. So today, (Trying to follow that rule) I made sure that I picked a shirt that's plain to go underneath, and then a very busy, lively kind of shirt on top, in a very different colour. The one on top has got a sort of fringe round the bottom of it, and lots of writing nearer the top. The writing says "WILD AND FREE" (Well, the big writing says that; there's lots of smaller writing underneath, but it's very hard to read it because of the font) and there's a big picture of a landscape, with a sign saying that there are kangaroos 96km away.

With that (To match the black shirt), I have on a pair of very baggy black jeans from "GAP", and a black belt to go with them.

6th February (First week)

I wore my "Also Caramel" skirt again, but this time with my "Purposely" ripped black tights, and a long-sleeved black shirt (The one from WOOW) and a super-soft cashmere jumper. The jumper doesn't have lots of buttons and button holes; it is open at the front, so it's great to wear if you have a nice T-shirt underneath that you don't want to completely cover up.

5th February (1st week)

I'll start with trousers again for this one: I wore my leopard-style leggings, along with a blue and white, stripy top from Primark, and another (Short sleeve), yellow, Primark top underneath. The leggings are ochre-colour, with black leopard kind of markings on them, so I decided to wear a black jumper over my top to match. The jumper is very warm, and thick, and has three decorative buttons diagonally down one side of the neck. I bought it from a charity shop in East Finchley, and have worn it many times since because it's so thick, and fits nicely under my jacket. As well as that, it isn't scratchy like some jumpers I've had, and because it's black, it goes with many things.

I wore my favourite shoes again, my leather boots.

3rd February (1st week)

On the third day of February I wore a short-ish red-dy brown skirt (Brand name: Also Caramel) with my coffee-brown tights. I like the pocket system of the skirt, but it's kinda hard to explain; like all pockets, it has a hole at the top, but then it also has a hole on either side of it. To stop the fabric flopping down, there are two buttons on the top (One on the left hand corner, one on the right). You can undo the buttons, and let the fabric hang down for an unusual style.

On top of my shirt I wore a pink down feather jacket from "Uniqlo". The amazing thing about this jacket is how light it is; when you first pick it up, you won't believe you're holding it. Having a jacket that is this light is extremely convenient, for so many reasons. You can take it with you if you're not sure whether you need to wear it, and you won't be carrying a big heavy thing around with you all day. The jacket is also very compact; it can be folded down to a size way smaller than one would guess.

2nd February 2013

On the second day of February, I wore one of my favourite dresses. The reason it's my favourite is because it isn't one of those "super-bright, floral and hard-to-match" dresses, and also it's quite short, so I can run, climb trees and wear it easily; it doesn't get caught on things and trail on the ground.

I also put on a black, long-sleeve t-shirt underneath so I wouldn't get cold, and some warm leggings. The T-shirt is from a retail shop called "WOOW" in Wood Green, which sells fairly good quality clothing for reasonable prices prices. I've been there twice to buy shirts.

The leggings that I wore are thermal ones, so later in the day, when I went ice-skating, I was kept nice and warm despite the cold of the ice.

Another thing I had on was a pair of leather gloves from "TKMaxx". I'd been wanting leather gloves for a few months before I got them, so I was really pleased when I finally did. It took me ages to choose them, but in the end I decided that "Osprey" was the best, and that's what I wore on the second of February.

The shoes that I decided to wear were from "Clarks" and quite old, but they matched my outfit pretty well, so I decided to wear them anyway.

On top, I had a thick black jumper.

A close up photograph of the gloves I'm wearing in the photo above this one

4th February (1st week)

I wore my baggy turquoise trousers that look like they are half pants, half skirt. They are probably one of my favourite items of clothing, but I don't wear them too often because I can't really climb trees in them (Which is something I like doing) and I'm worried they'll get dirty. Also, every time they go in the washing machine, a tiny bit of colour is lost. But never mind. I think I should just enjoy wearing them, and if they fade, I can always dye them.

With those trousers, I had on a long-sleeve, turquoise top from primark, and on top of that, a thin, bright orange jumper with slightly shorter sleeves. The jumper was a present from a guest.

Shoes: I chose to wear my leather boots again, because they are my number-one shoes. Also, they went quite well with my other clothes.

1st February 2013 (First week)

Me in today's choice of clothes
Today I decided to wear a denim jacket on top of my jumper. It's my favourite jacket at the moment, partly because you can do it up two ways. The first way, you can zip it up and there will be a row of what look like decorative buttons, and another row of what look like decorative button holes. The second way, you can button it up and the zip will just look decorative.  You can't see them in the picture, but there are three pockets on the jacket. The third one is only partly functional, because it is very small, and on one of the sleeves. A few badges and patches are dotted around the jacket. I put two of them on, but the others were already there when I bought it.

In the picture I'm wearing boot-cut jeans, but I've tucked them inside my boots because otherwise they cover them up. My jeans are probably from Primark or GAP, and are quite old and faded, but I don't think they look terrible because they get that "City" look.

The boots are from Asos and are made out of leather. They were made in Portugal and lined with really soft fabric with brown and white squares.

I'm wearing a denim cap in the photo. It was bought from a retro shop near Notting Hill, and is my favourite hat. It goes with a wide range of clothing, so I wear it a lot.

I don't know what I'm going to wear tomorrow. Probably something totally different from today's clothes. I'll just have to see!

Style for a week

Since I've got really into fashion drawings this year, I've started becoming more aware of different styles and brands. I decided to begin a record of what I wear each day of this week. If I like the project enough, I'll carry on. The weeks that I focus on won't necessarily be consecutive, 'cos I won't have the time to blog everyday.

Ok, time to start!
